Muhammad Ali Nasserdeen's vision and dream was to see this magnificient organization, Recycling Black Dollars (RBD), which began 1988 celebrating 20 years of serving the community. He was able to see his vision manifest for 19 years, but he knew there was still much work to be done. Not it's time for us, as a people, as RBD, members, as small businesses and corporate partners to carry on with this vision. He laid the groundwork, let us forge ahead.
What part of his vision did Muhammad see in 19 years? Let's start with "Black Business Month", the month of April in which African American businesses are strongly encouraged to do business with one another. Then there was Recycling Black Dollars big push for "Change Bank Month", moving millions of dollars into Black owned banks.
